  1. Completed slide deck for presentation on Monday as a team
  2. Chris updated the app to use a unified menu instead of the old menu screen
  3. Chris fixed the cart feature, so now the cart works on both Android and iOS

Tasks accomplished

  1. Sam fixed a bug where the trash can icon would not show up.
  2. Emma printed all the consent forms and checked out an Android tablet to use for testing from the Honors Lab.
  3. Ben and Mustafa updated the surveys for usability testing.
  4. Chris made the QR code and encoded the NFC Chip.
  5. Completed testing with 4 Users as a team during today's meeting time.

  1. Sam and Chris will be correcting bugs as they are found and as they have time.

  1. Test 3 more users during Thursday's meeting.
  2. Test 1 more user, Michael Roppolo, on Friday at 3 PM.
The whole team is meeting for both of these times.

Issues

  1. No team problems.
  2. Known bug: on phones larger text descriptions are overlapped by buttons for order items.
  3. Known bug: the cart screen does not appear on any iOS device.
  4. Known bug: if you tap back before the screen finishes loading, it takes you back 2 screens. This has been determined as a bug in Sencha.

Week 6

Status Report for Week #6

04/11/13

Tasks accomplished

  1. Emma made the main menu buttons take up the whole height of the screen.
  2. Chris created and got the Favorites buttons working.
  3. Chris, Ben and Sam have been chipping away at the tasks listed in the previous post. About 50% are now completed.

Tasks In Progress

  1. The test plan is in progress. Emma started it. She and Chris continued to work on it during Wednesday's meeting. Emma will take care of the last few bits over the weekend.
  2. The testing materials are also in the works.
    1. Emma will make the background and post-evaluation surveys.
    2. Chris will create the QR-Code and encode the NFC Chip.
  3. The application still needs "shopping cart" functionality and related screens.

  1. Identified nouns and discussed how the object model will look for the system.

    • We want to complete the design in the next week. This will give us about a week to pull together a prototype before the due date of April 3.

  1. We need to figure out an easy way to conference call Sam into our meetings. Every time we fight with the camera and speaker and Google+ for about 30 minutes before he can connect and we can start our meeting for real.

Tasks accomplished

  1. Completed the in-class activity from Wednesday's class. Emma did the first two sections before the meeting on Wednesday. Sam finished the Use Case diagram during the meeting with input from all team members.
  2. Completed the User Profiles and System Features sections of the SRS. All team members contributed during the meeting.

  1. Started on the task analysis section of the SRS. Each member is responsible for completing one HTA. Should take about 30 minutes to complete the verbal section needed for the SRS at most.

  1. Finish SRS Document before deadline of March 20th. All team members are responsible and we should finish during our next meeting.
  2. HTA Assignments (to be used in the task analysis section of the SRS). Each member is responsible for completing their own individual assignment. Four of the five will be chosen to be a Feature listed in the task analysis.
